● Basic Information: ISUBE was founded in 2018 by internationally renowned spine expert Son Sang Kyu, Professor Zhang Wei from Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and other internationally renowned UBE experts.
● Purpose and Mission: Its committed to the promotion and research of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE) technology worldwide, aiming to benefit more patients. Through its platform, it intends to establish UBE training centers globally, hold courses and training sessions annually, providing professional learning and training platforms for spine surgeons, neurosurgeons and pain physicians.
● Scope of Influence: It has influence in many countries and regions such as China, South Korea, Singapore, Turkey, Indonesia, Europe and South America.
● Main Activities: It often holds academic conferences, training courses and other activities. For example, PUMCH-Shougang UBE Training Course and the UBE Training Course of the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University. In December 2024, the ISUBE Members Meeting and Re-election Conference was successfully held in Wuhan, China.

● 组织性质：是一个国际性学术组织。
● 主要宗旨：致力于UBE技术（单侧双通道脊柱内镜技术）在全球的推广和研究，让更多患者受益于先进的UBE技术。
● 影响力范围：影响力遍及中国、韩国、新加坡、土耳其、印度尼西亚以及欧洲、南美等国家和地区。
● 重要活动：2024年12月5日，国际UBE协会成员会暨换届选举会议在湖北省武汉市成功召开，张伟教授当选为国际UBE协会第二届主席。协会还会经常举办学术会议、培训班等活动，如协和-首钢UBE培训班、山西医科大学第二医院脊柱内镜UBE培训班等，推动UBE技术的学术交流与临床应用。
